Don't put away your camper yet! Enjoy one more weekend of camping fun at our Harvest Festival. Bring your Halloween costumes, decorations and candy for trick-or-treating. The event kicks off at the parks beach day use area with the opening of the Haunted House. It will be open Friday and Saturday evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cost is $1 per person to enter and it is open to the public! There will also be free games and fun activites for younger children. On Saturday morning in the campground there will be a pancake breakfast for a nominal fee. Other activites will include a pumpkin carving contest, trick-or-treating, campsite decorating contest (campers only), costume contest and a Halloween dance.
The haunted house and pancake breakfast are put on by the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum in Northport. All funds raised will be used for restoration projects. A full schedule of activites will be available in the campground office. For more information call the park.
