The lighthouse will be open Oct. 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Oct. 22-28 from noon to 4 p.m. The haunted basement will only be available Oct. 20-21.
Come and join us for a haunting at the lighthouse. If you dare, take a spooky tour through the main floor of the lighthouse keeper's quarters (ages 2 to 99). Next, venture down into the creepy basement and be prepared to be scared by volunteers from the local high school. Then, explore other areas of the lighthouse and climb the tower for a spectacular fall view of Lake Michigan. There will be games, activities and an outside treasure hunt for adults and kids, alike. Come in costume, if you dare. For more information, contact the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum.
