Lansing Symphony MasterWorks 3: Schubert Symphony No. 9

Wharton Center for Performing Arts
750 E. Shaw Lane,
East Lansing, MI 48824
Known as The Great, Schubert's Symphony No. 9, is an homage to Beethoven but its lyricism and "heavenly length" stretch well beyond Classical norms. Today's most well-recorded classical harpist, Yolanda Kondonassis, will give a unique and electrifying performance of Grammy Award winner Jennifer Higdon's Concert for Harp and Orchestra.

Semiramide Overture by Rossini
Concerto for Harp and Orchestra by Higdon
Symphony No. 9 "The Great" by Schubert
