Leelanau State Park - Meteors and S'mores

15310 N. Lighthouse Point Rd.,
Northport, MI 49670-9717
Experience Leelanau State Park during the Perseid meteor shower. With your naked eye, you will be able to see potentially hundreds of meteors flash across the sky as they enter the atmosphere. Visitors should meet at the parks day-use pavilion where complimentary s'mores will be provided for everyone to enjoy during this star-gazing opportunity. They are best viewed while lying on your back, so it is advised visitors bring a lawn chair or blanket. Also dress according to the weather, bring bug spray and your own beverages.
