Each year, the Mackinac Island Community gathers together to
celebrate the Christmas season by giving back. For three days people meet,
talk, bid, eat, bargain hunt, and buy all for the sake of raising funds for
The annual Christmas Bazaar will be Friday, December 6,
through Monday, December 9. The bazaar starts with the tree lighting ceremony
downtown Friday night at 5:30 p.m. Throughout the weekend, Community Hall will be the site of
shopping, meals, and an auction. A snowmobile is the grand prize for the annual raffle.
Tickets are $2 each.
The Mackinac Island Christmas Bazaar is a fundraiser for the
Mackinac Island Medical Center as well as St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Little
Stone Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and the Mackinac Island Bible Church.
