National Kids to Parks Day Guided Hike

Enjoy the beauty of this one-mile interpretive trail through the shady forest following a river spotted with waterfalls. During the hike we are going to have a scavenger hunt and learn about some of the local birds in Michigan. Meet at the Union Mine Interpretive trailhead, one mile down South Boundary Road from M-107. Kids of any age are welcome with an adult. Check weather conditions ahead of time and dress appropriately. Closed toed shoes are recommended and be ready for bugs. No registration is necessary. This event will only cancel in extreme weather.
