This all-day workshop will take you step by step through the process of weaving your own traditional wood-framed snowshoes. Each kit includes one pair of wood frames, tubular nylon lacing, boot bindings and personalized instruction.
For ages 16 and older.
Two styles of snowshoe kits will be offered:
Cross country 10x46
Green mountain 10x36

Cost is $200 per person. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Please bring a lunch and wear comfortable clothing. A refrigerator and microwave will be available for use.

Please note: Cancellations must be made by Nov. 23 in order to receive a refund. If you are unable to make the class and are unable to give two weeks' notice, the registration fee is considered a donation to the educational program at Tahquamenon Falls State Park.

A Recreation Passport is required for entry into Tahquamenon Falls State Park. The pass can be purchased at the park entrance.
