Enjoy a snowshoe hike around Leelanau State Park and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. Participants should meet at the lighthouse gift shop. Participants should dress in layers and be prepared for the weather. The lighthouse and gift shop will be open after the hike for a short time. There will be 18 pairs of snowshoes for children and adults to borrow. If there is not enough snow, a hike will still take place. The event could be canceled in the chance of severe weather. For more information or to reserve a set of snowshoes, call the park at 231-386-5422.
