Did you know that the nuthatch is the only bird species that can walk up AND down trees?

Come join us for an afternoon to learn more about this fascinating bird, and the efforts of the Audubon Society to ensure its survival. Those interested are welcome to sign up to participate in a bird survey that will take place between January 15 - February 15 in the Monroe area. We'll cover general birding skills, teach you how to identify the nuthatch near and far, and describe how local organizations protect habitats for these flying phenomenons.
