The Old Mission Peninsula boosts seven signature wineries that welcome guests to tasting rooms and gift shops throughout this holiday season.

2 Lads Winery--The contemporary design of the 2 Lads winery and tasting room is unique among Michigan wineries, capturing the fresh perspective and boldness of the wines produced there. The winery specializes in full-bodied, new-world style red wines with sparking and white wines to round out the offerings.

Chateau Chantal--This charming winery is  located on a 65-acre estate is a unique destination that combines vineyards & winery, a bed & breakfast, winding roads, fresh air and kind company--all of which serve to create a retreat into the Old World. Here, you’ll enjoy tours, wine tasting, seasonal entertainment, year-round lodging, and over 12 hand-crafted wines that are in keeping with the area's growing reputation for exceptional hospitality, fine foods and superb wines. You'll find a wide variety of wines from very dry to lightly sweet, produced from the same vineyard blocks. 

Bowers Harbor Vineyards--This boutique winery, features panoramic views of Lake Michigan's historic Bowers Harbor. The 43-acre estate's proximity to the water creates ideal conditions for growing Vinifera grapes. Visit Bowers Harbor Vineyards and experience the epic views, award-winning wines, and a friendly and informative staff. The winery specialize in award-winning and estate Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir and meritage blends. 

Brys Estate Vineyard & Winery--Situated on 80 acres on Old Mission Peninsula with breathtaking views of the East Grand Traverse Bay, Brys Estate, a boutique winery began with the planting of 32 acres of European vinifera grapes in 2001. Attention is given to every detail as we crush, ferment, age and bottle our wines. Visit our unique old-world brick and mahogany tasting room, where our red wines are aged in traditional French oak barrels. 

Chateau Grand Traverse--With stunning views, a modern wine-making facility, and over 120 acres of estate vineyards, this is the oldest and largest commercial winery on the Old Mission Peninsula. This pioneering winery is internationally known for producing outstanding Rieslings of consistent high quality and value.

Peninsula Cellars--A family owned winery producing regionally expressive wines. Varieties include Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir. Peninsula Cellars also produces apple and cherry wines. All wines are made from locally grown fruit, with over 90% of the fruit is grown on the Old Mission Peninsula. 

Black Star Farms Old Mission--This picturesque winery sits just off scenic M-37 among the rolling hills and gorgeous views of East Grand Traverse Bay. The tasting room boasts a round bar constructed from wine barrels, a cozy fireplace, and a knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can taste many of our award-winning wines and brandies, all of which express the regional nature of northwest Michigan.
