Performing Arts/Theaters

Michigan performing arts demonstrate unmatched passion.
There is nothing quite like a live performance, whether it’s the orchestra, a touring Broadway show, local dance troupe or stand-up comedy – and Michigan offers a rich array of opportunities to experience these live arts.
Often times, the performing arts centers and venues are a destination in their own right, adding to the excitement that comes as the curtain rises. Are you ready to take center stage in Pure Michigan?
Kerrytown Concert House offers rich and diverse live music and performing arts experiences, as well as rotating art exhibits.  Nestled in the Kerrytown District of Ann Arbor, this unique historic area also offers locally owned shops, restaurants and more. One of a few professionally managed nonprofit concert spaces in Ann Arbor, Kerrytown Concert House has earned a national reputation as a venue for chamber music, jazz, and cabaret; and plays host to the internationally acclaimed avant jazz festival, Edgefest. Its intimate L-shaped concert hall with a prized German Steinway, along with the quality and diversity of its concerts, have earned a special place in the artistic community.
