Historic Marine City is a riverfront community which is centrally located on the St. Clair and Belle Rivers. Linked to Canada by a car ferry, the city is one of three international crossings in St. Clair County. Surrounded by natural beauty, a short distance from major markets, Marine City is an excellent location to live, work and play. Five waterfront parks, including a public beach, and a host of festivals during the year- Antique Show, Maritime Days, Pumpkin Palooza Party, Merrytime Christmas and Holiday Home Tour. There are also free waterfront concerts at the Drake Park Amphitheater. Eight antique stores and two antique malls make Marine City a destination for collectors. The Victorian era lives on in an historic Richardsonian Romanesque City Hall and numerous examples of Victorian residential design. The St. Clair River is a productive sport fishery especially well regarded for plentiful walleye. A DNR launch ramp is within the city limits.
