Established in 1990 by a group of Upper Peninsula artists and crafters, The Settlers Depot Gallery enters its Silver Anniversary year with much to celebrate! Located in the original Bruce Crossing Railroad Depot, the Gallery mission is to promote Ontonagon County and its residents by showcasing the work of area artisans, to develop a local market as well as attracting a tourist market for their one-of-a-kind merchandise and to assist in supporting community activities and nonprofit organizations. The cooperative retail shop is operated by the members. Open Summer hours daily from 11:00am until 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Located at the corner of US 45 and M28 on the grounds of Settlers Coop. In addition to the amazing collection of handcrafted merchandise for sale in the shop, travelers can browse the excellent selection of maps and brochures. We offer a free book exchange. If you don't have a book to swap, we'll gladly accept a $.50 donation for a paperback or a dollar donation for a hardback. We look forward to seeing you down at The Depot!
