What colleges are in Lansing?

Lansing Community College offers associate degrees and partners with five major Michigan universities for four-year degrees. Lansing also houses Davenport University, WMU Thomas Cooley Law School and Great Lakes Christian College. Michigan State University is in neighboring East Lansing. 

What is there to do in Lansing?

Tour the State Capitol Building and Michigan History Center. Visit Impression 5 Science Center, Potter Park Zoo and R.E. Olds Transportation. A visit to Michigan State University can include the Broad Art Museum, Wharton Center for Performing Arts, MSU Museum and multiple horticultural gardens. 

What is Lansing famous for?

Lansing is the capital of Michigan and was the birthplace of Oldsmobile. The city is bookended by the majestic and historic State Capitol Building and the campus of Michigan State University. The Grand River and Lansing's 20-mile River Trail bisect the downtown from Old Town to REO Town and beyond.

Lansing's many parks and trails offer free adventures for visitors. The Michigan State Capitol Building offers free guided and self-guided tours Monday - Friday. Known as the festival capital of Michigan, Lansing hosts over 60 festivals, many of which are free to attend.
