    Located on the shores of Lakes Michigan and Macatawa, Holland ushers in the change of seasons with warm Dutch hospitality.  Cobblestone sidewalks, Victorian streetlights and park benches invite shoppers to our award-winning downtown. Farm markets dot the area and orchards abound with fresh-picked produce. Tulips in full bloom line the streets every spring and miles of white sand beaches welcome visitors in the summer. Sometimes going a world away doesn't require a passport. Step on over to Holland, where a world of delight is Pure Michigan.

    Be sure to enjoy everything Holland has to offer, from Tulip Time (May 4-11, 2013) and special events like Art in the Park (August 3) to the twice-weekly farmer’s market and the Thursday Street Performer Series. The Civil War Muster (September 7 & 8) is a fall highlight, with special events to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

    Attractions     
    Enter the 19th century world of Dutch immigrants, talk to artists as they make authentic blue and white delftware or watch wooden shoe carving. Experience the arrival of the Dutch in 1847 at the Holland Museum, explore the Netherlands of the 1800’s on Windmill Island or cruise aboard Holland’s old-fashioned Victorian-stylepaddlewheel boat. 
    Beaches
    Lake Michigan’s beautiful beaches offer breathtaking sunsets--visit Holland’s Tunnel park or the Holland State Park for a walk on the beach and a sunset.

     Farmers Market 

    With over 50 vendors participating, the Holland Farmer's Market is every Wednesday and Saturday through November. Check out the variety of fruits, vegetables and specialty items.
