Located along Harbor Avenue on the Grand River channel, Chinook Pier is approximately one acre in size. It is a special use park. Within the park is the commercial fishing marina with a fish cleaning station. Adjacent to the park is a City owned commercial building with seasonal food and retail shops. An “old fashioned” miniature golf facility is operated by the City.
The Chamber of Commerce operated Farmer’s Market is open Saturdays and Wednesdays, generally from May through November.
Within the park the historic steam train Engine No. 1223 is on exhibit. The play area was renovated in 2014 by a joint effort of the City and Coast Guard members stationed in Grand Haven.
