Crystal Ponds is a beautiful vacation spot for the family, group or couple. It is privately nestled in the middle of the Manistee National Forest, off the Big Manistee River. Fish, swim or sunbathe on the fine white sand beaches of lake Michigan. Fish the Big and Little Manistee rivers for Coho, Chinook, Salmon and Steelhead, or fish Lake Michigan for Lake Trout, Coho and Chinook. Also, many panfish are available in area lakes. Golf on one of the area courses. Hunt in some of the finest deer woods. Hike or bike hundreds of miles of beautiful trails or challenge the hills of the Big M trails. All this just minutes away. The Lodge consists of aproximately 1,600 sq. ft. of living area. It has a large 28'x30' carpeted main living area with fireplace, satelite television, and bar. There is a glassed-in front porch with a full sized pool table. There are two bathrooms, one with a tub and shower. The kitchen has a large refrigerator-freezer and gas cooking with a large triple-burner griddle which cooks 6-8 good sized steaks or a complete breakfast all at once. There are 10 full size double beds. The Lodge overlooks a 2.5 Acre pond great for panfishing in the provided row boat. Cook outside on the charcoal grill and picnic table, or enjoy an evening camp fire.
