The Hindley Fine Art Gallery was established in 1997 as a mural painting studio. The 4000+ sq ft space , formally the Flynn Theater, was ideal for painting large scale murals for which artist Joe Hindley is regularly commissioned. His works in this area include paintings for the Chicago police headquarters, Banana Republic, Midway Airport, Quad Cities Airport and number of other high profile locations. Over the years, Hindley has transformed his studio into a remarkable exhibition space of work that showcases his 40 year career of incredibly diverse work of paintings ,sculptures, photos and everything in between. His maxim "any concept, any medium, any size anytime," is broadly displayed here. Besides being a fine art gallery, this space continues to be his work space and a lucky visitor may often see a mural in progress.
