Overnight Adventure with one night and two days. On this adventure, you will learn the basics of mushing, how to drive a dog team and spend one night winter camping in our heated tent. No experience necessary! Trip is all-inclusive.

Nature's Kennel Sled Dog Adventures--Premier Winter Sled Dog Adventures. DRIVE YOUR OWN DOG TEAM!! Owned by eight time Iditarod finisher Ed Stielstra and his wife, Tasha, Nature's Kennel is located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Nature's Kennel offers a variety of "drive-your-own-dog team" adventures ranging from half day to full day to overnight adventures. All trips are fully guided and are designed for beginners. The full day and half day trips allow guests to either drive their own team or to take a ride in the sled. Overnight guests learn how to drive their own team and spend the night at winter camp. No experience is necessary! Naure's Kennel can also accomdate both small and large groups. Reservations can be made by calling 906-748-0513 or at Nature's Kennel also offers all inclusive packages with Chamberlin's Old Forest Inn near Curtis. These packages offer lodging, dining and dog sledding options. Ed and Tasha are two of the Midwest's most accomplished mushers. Ed has finished Alaska's Iditarod in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2016; Ed and Tasha have both won Marquette's UP 200 and Tasha completed La Grande Odyssee in France in 2006. They have both won numerous awards for their outstanding dog care. You'll never forget a visit to their impressive 160-dog kennel!
