Secluded UP Log Cabin
Experience 'SOLITUDE!' About 1.5 hours from ‘da big Mac Bridge’ connecting Michigan's two Peninsulas. Wake up to the sound of Whippoorwills in this secluded Upper Peninsula log cabin tucked away from absolutely everyone on a trophy size brook trout lake. Three bedrooms, sleeps six comfortably. Large mosquito-free screened porch, sandy beach, clear spring-fed lake for swimming. There is a row boat on site for perfect fishing under the sunset. It is the only cabin on the lake with nothing but trails, trails and more trails leading all over the Upper Peninsula. Grand Marais is 20 minutes away with Lake Superior shoreline awaiting the agate rock hounds, sun-bathers, and boaters. The famous Seney Wildlife Refuge (20 minutes) is a great place to spend a day hiking, canoeing, and animal watching. The Fox River with boat rentals is just 15 minutes away. With fabulous sunsets around a bon-fire, you can watch brookies surface for bugs or listen to lonely loon calls. This is a vacation designation for families, honeymooners, couples, fishermen, hunters, or just anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The six mile long drivable trail to this cabin can be confusing at night, so please plan on coming in the daytime and enjoy the wildlife and wilderness scenery on your way in.
The cabin is set up like a motor home with an easy push button outside generator. All modern appliances for your convenience.
