The Box Factory for the Arts is a regional multi-use arts facility serving
southwest Michigan and northwest Indiana. Our vibrant arts community on the St. Joseph River, just minutes from Lake Michigan, includes visual arts, music, performance, film and the literary arts. Our 55,000 square foot building has three art galleries with changing exhibits, working artists studios, a performance stage, art shoppe, printmaking studio, two conference rooms, classrooms, and more.
The Berrien Artist Guild, Inc., founded in 1962, purchased the historic Box Factory building in 1995 and has continuously developed all three levels while providing an energetic schedule of programs which can be viewed on our website. The building is open free to the public Monday-Saturday, from 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday, from 1 to 4 pm. A fee is charged for many evening events. The organization is a 501(c) 3 non-profit arts organization.
