106 acres. A mix of pines and hardwoods offer a diversity of habitats. Apple trees are a remnant of an old farmstead. The highest points of the property have views of Lake Charlevoix.
Two miles of trails include old two-tracks and single-tracks and are groomed for cross country skiing. This preserve is at the north end of Boyne City; parking lot is on the east side of Charlevoix St. 0.7 mile north of W. Michigan Ave. (C-56).
