Serving authentic Cuban sandwiches, authentic Cuban beans and rice, authentic Cuban paella, authentic Cuban mojitos and much more. Roasted port sandwiches and mild cured ham lend seperate notes of flavor on the crusted bred that are cut in triangles. Also featuring appetizers such as papas rellenas (deliciously seasoned meat filling encased in mashed potatoes and quickly fried); an avocado salad that features Maria's favorite vinaigrette; and meat, poultry, seafood entrees ranging from lobster in a Spanish sauce to chicken with garlic and white wine to a Cuban-style steak with onions. Bar specialties include Vicente's own sangria recipe and, of course, Cuban mojitos (pronounced mo-HEE-toes), made with rum, lime, sugar and mint.
Special activities include house-provided dominos on Tuesday nights, house Brazilian and Cuban music Wednesday-Friday, and salsa dancing and lessons Saturday nights.
