Experience the magic of the holidays in Portland, MI at deLIGHTfully Portland, the world’s only historic downtown fully wrapped in thousands of bulbs and synchronized to music. This completely FREE, family-friendly event transforms every building, roofline, and downtown trees into a dazzling show that dances in harmony with festive songs. Stroll the beautifully lit streets, enjoy open downtown businesses, sip hot cocoa, and take in the Two Rivers Plaza Christmas Tree. Framed by the Grand River, Portland’s historic district feels like stepping into a living Norman Rockwell painting; welcoming, nostalgic, and full of small-town spirit.

Highlights include HolidayFest (Portland’s annual Christmas lighted parade and celebration) featuring a special light show, tree lighting, and small-town seasonal hospitality you’ve never seen before. On Christmas Eve at 9pm, join the moving Candlelight Vigil Show, where visitors hold lighted candles and sing along as the synchronized lights create a truly magical setting.

Regular Friday night shows run 7–9:30pm with complimentary hot cocoa, s’mores, and ever-changing surprises. Shows continue on Friday evenings from early December through mid-January.
