Raise a glass to Berrien County’s past with the BCHA in 2025 with our newly expanded “A Drink with History” series. Travel the county with us as we visit wineries, breweries, and distilleries with a host of historical experts to dive deep into specially curated topics. From the women who built and owned successful businesses to the stories of the House of David’s High Island, no matter your interest, there is something for everyone!
The BCHA is getting into the Halloween spirit with Dan Holroyd of Southwest Michigan Paranormal and Iron Shoe Distillery in Niles. Both a historian and a ghost hunter, Dan’s storytelling ways opens guests to a new way of looking at Berrien County’s past. He’ll share stories of ghosts and spirits, haunts and specters that walk amongst us. From a woman seeking her long-lost children to the most haunted bed and breakfast in the county, these stories are perfect for a Michigan October night. Iron Shoe, located just down the road from the famous Niles Scream Park and several haunted houses, provides the perfect back drop to a spook-tacular evening!
General tickets are $40.00 and include one cocktail/mocktail of your choice, a burger box, the lecture, and 20% off our pop-up gift shop.
Ticket sales open September 1st and will run through October 5th. This event is for adults 21 and over only.
