Help protect native habitat in Waterloo Recreation Area, the largest state park in the Lower Peninsula. Waterloo is home to a plethora of native ecosystems, with 25 unique natural communities forming the diverse landscape. We will be stewarding remnant black oak barrens and prairie by cutting and treating invasive shrubs.
Register by emailing Natural Resource Steward Anna Cone at [email protected].
For more information, visit the Volunteer stewardship webpage.
A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks.
