From September 18 to October 4, downtown Grand Rapids becomes
the living, walkable gallery it's known for—anchored this year by Arborialis,
a touring immersive experience by the UK’s Architects of Air. Think luminous
color, immersive design, and major draw for all ages.
Highlights this year include:
- Opening Celebration (Sept. 19) with a lantern-making workshop, parade, and fireworks
- Merchants + Makers Markets every Saturday on Monroe Center
- HalfTime (Sept. 26) presented by Rockford, featuring live music and the Top 20 Reveal
- Awards Ceremony (Oct. 3) with citywide livestream and performances
