Start your snow dance because Heikki Lunta is set to return to Negaunee on February 6, 7, & 8, 2026! This year the Negaunee Downtown Development Authority is partnering with the Meijer Winter Games for even more fun!
The Heikki Lunta Winter Festival is inspired by the Heikki Lunta snow god folklore that originated in the Upper Peninsula. The festival is a celebration of winter, and will include the luge, ice fishing, lantern ligt snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, warm beverages, and more!
