Contact
Join outdoor enthusiasts Jill and Aaron Grenchik as they instruct you on how to identify a variety of Michigan's edible wild mushrooms and share some tips on where to start looking. In addition, you will learn about proper handling techniques for transport, cleaning, consumption (including some sampling) and home preservation.
The class will start at the Saginaw Bay Visitor Center at 10 a.m. (doors open at 9:30) and will run four to five hours. We will start the day in the classroom and then move to the woods nearby.
