Attention film fans, on Saturday, October 18th, the Public Museum will be partnering with area artists and filmmakers to share their unique perspectives on the Anishinaabe Culture, past, present, and future. This unique day will be filled with vibrant discussions around art, documentaries about language, wild rice, and sturgeon, and a fictional comedy horror film.

11 a.m. Join presentations and a roundtable with muralists Jamie John, Justin Johnson, and Brittany Benson, hosted by GRPM Anishinaabe Curator Katrina Furman.
12 p.m. See a screening of Davis Hendersons documentary Bodewadmi NDAW, followed by Q&A
1 p.m. Enjoy a break. This is a great opportunity to see the Anishinaabe Star Knowledge Planetarium Show!
2 p.m. See a screening of the documentary Nme (Lake Sturgeon)
2:45 p.m. See a screening of the documentary Mahnoomin: The Food that Grows on the Water
3:15 pm See a screening of Ishkwaazhe Shane McSaubys horror/comedy short film The Beguiling (recommended for ages 16 and older), followed by a Zoom Q&A
