The Wilderness Trail is a beautiful 7-mile route featuring a variety of terrain, including rolling woodlands, pine forest, wetlands, ponds and prairies. This trail is considered easy to moderate and is ideal for beginning mountain bikers and cross-country skiers. The trail is open to two- way mountain biking traffic due to the long sight distances and wider trail. The trail can be accessed near the Overlook Shelter or access points in the modern campground.
