The evening includes screenings of Battling Butler and a newly restored version of The General, widely regarded as one of the greatest films of the silent era. Known for his groundbreaking stunts, visual storytelling and signature deadpan comedy, Buster Keaton remains one of cinema's most influential filmmakers.
Enhancing the experience, Chicago organist Dennis Scott will provide live accompaniment on the Frauenthal Theater's historic Barton Theater Organ, recreating the atmosphere of early movie palaces. Set inside one of Michigan's most beautiful historic theaters, this unique event offers film lovers, history enthusiasts and cultural travelers an unforgettable evening in downtown Muskegon.
