The historic Feast of the Ste. Claire returns Memorial Day Weekend 2027: Expanded & Revitalized as the Great Lakes Colonial Festival.
For more than 40 years, the Feast of the Ste. Claire was a cherished Port Huron tradition, transforming Pine Grove Park into an immersive 18th & early 19th Century Encampment.
Visitors experienced reenactors, traders, crafters, musicians, open-fire cooking, and demonstrations representing Native American, French, British, and early American life along the St. Clair River.
The Great Lakes Colonial Festival honors that legacy while broadening the story. This new chapter explores the cultures, conflicts, and communities that shaped not only Port Huron and the St. Clair River corridor,
but the entire Great Lakes region. Guests can expect authentic living-history camps, demonstrations, artisans, music, storytelling, and expanded educational programming that highlights the diverse peoples who lived,
traded, and built their lives along these waterways.
The spirit of the Feast lives on, now with a wider lens and a renewed commitment to preserving and sharing the stories that define our region.
