Main-ten-ance by Anthony Brazeau

The job of the maintenance worker, a profession Anthony Brazeau is proud to have, is to ensure that the building is presentable and safe for the patrons that circulate throughout it daily. Commercial maintenance is an important, though often unnoticed and overlooked, profession. The paintings and sculptures in this installation will be derived from the everyday material of the maintenance worker in order to celebrate the nature of the job, and to explore nontraditional fine art materials.
