Ahmeek Coppermine Camp is a rustic haven for outdoor enthusiasts and dedicated trailblazers. There's always something to do on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Rockhounds and geologists will love the location on a historic copper mine property. The off-road crowd will love the direct access to the Keweenaw Peninsula trail system and that we're open year-round.
Ahmeek Coppermine Camp is conveniently located right on US-41 about halfway between Houghton and Copper Harbor and open year-round. Ahmeek Coppermine Camp features rustic cabin campsites, tent camping, and motor/RV campsites. This site also has copper mine ruins that visitors are able to walk around and explore!
