G & D Alpaca Farm

G&D alpaca is a seasonal farm (May 15-Oct 31) open Thursday-Monday 10:00-4:00. We are open to the general public and charge no admission. We offer hands on alpaca tours, picnic area, walking trails, playground for little ones, and a reading hut with supplied books for quiet relaxed learning in a natural setting. On the "fairy trail" visitors of all ages build fairy houses among the pines; with supplied building materials consisting of sticks, shells, stones, and pine cones. Benches and loungers are in place for additional relaxation. We also feature a wonderful pick your own flower garden. We are a working alpaca farm and sell yarn from our animals along with socks ,clothing, items for children, and items for the home. In addition we sell Michigan based craft goods. We are entering our 7th season of business and have become a destination for visitors to the area. G&D has seen visitors from every state and many other countries. When tourists inquire "What is there to do in the Manistee area" locals and the Chamber of Commerce alike certainly send them our way!
