Goodhart Farms Nature Preserve

595 acres. A mix of meadows, hay fields and wooded areas. Forest of maple, beech and ash; old orchards and pine plantations are also found on the property. The rolling terrain offers views of Lake Michigan. Three parking areas are available offering access to 7-1/2 miles of marked trails (3-1/2 miles are groomed in winter) for hiking, horseback riding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Please do not enter the hayfields but instead travel along the edges at the field--forest margin.
