Established in 2024.
Originally, this location has been known for its history in the banking world. Most recently a Chase Bank branch, providing financial services to the Roscommon community. The bank eventually closed, leaving the building vacant and available for repurposing. In 2024, local entrepreneurs purchased the former bank building with a vision to create a multifaceted community space. They transformed it into The Village Vault, a unique venue that now houses several businesses, including: Rosco’s Coney Island, Rosco's Coffee, Northern Lights Arcade, Papa's Parlor, BC Pizza and Irish Kilt Brewing Co. The evolution of 701 Lake Street from a financial institution to a vibrant community hub exemplifies the positive impact of local entrepreneurship and adaptive reuse of existing structures.
