This historic and mysterious destination, established in 1952, is for all lovers of the strange and wonderful! Located in Michigan’s Irish Hills, where nothing is as it appears, Mystery Hill is the premier site of abnormal forces of gravity that will boggle your mind. With our guided gravitational house tours, you can see water run uphill, watch a pendulum that only swings to the south, and feel the amazing force of gravity first hand in ways you never thought possible!
In addition to our gravitational house, we are also home to Ward Hall’s Strange Oddities Museum, which features relics from showman Ward Hall's old touring museum with the World of Wonders circus sideshow. See unusual characters and objects in this museum and learn their stories!
Onsite we also offer gemstone mining. Purchase a bag of mining rough and wash through the sand with our onsite water sluice, then take home the gems that you find!
