Fire Garden & Hike the Lights: Fall Evenings at Muskegon Luge

Experience fall after dark at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park during Fire Garden & Hike the Lights. Set within Muskegon State Park, these special evenings combine lighted hiking trails, fireside activities, live music and seasonal refreshments.
Warm up around the fire pits at Fire Garden, enjoy live music and take a guided nighttime hike along the park’s lighted trails during Hike the Lights. Seasonal refreshments, including apple cider, donuts and s’mores, will be available, along with other food and beverage options.
2026 Dates and Hours:
- October 3, 6 to 10 p.m.
- October 24, 6 to 10 p.m.
- November 14, 6 to 10 p.m.
The event is free and open to all ages.
A Michigan DNR Recreation Passport is required for parking within Muskegon State Park. Recreation Passports can be purchased in advance through a Michigan Secretary of State office or online.
