Walk to Windsor: Cross the Gordie Howe International Bridge on Foot

Walk out of the United States and into Canada. On Saturday, October 10, Detroit Social Walk Club is leading a guided group walk across the new Gordie Howe International Bridge, from Detroit to Windsor, Ontario.

We check in at 8:00 AM and start walking at 8:30 AM. The crossing is about 1.8 miles on the bridge's pedestrian path, 150 feet above the Detroit River, with skyline views you can't get anywhere else. In Windsor we take a commemorative group photo and every walker receives a finisher medal. From there, explore Windsor on your own or walk back to Detroit with the group.

Want to make a full day of it? The Retreat Edition adds transportation to Lungovita Beach Retreat for lake-view hot tubs, cedar steam saunas, cold plunges, a thermal pool, kayaks, paddleboards, massages and cruiser bikes for nearby wineries, then transportation back to Detroit.
