“Joy to the World,” “Mama Told Me (Not to Come)” and “Shambala” are among the hits that made Three Dog Night a fixture of early-’70s rock radio. The Los Angeles band stood out for its three lead vocalists and knack for turning songs by varied songwriters into chart successes, earning 21 consecutive Billboard Top 40 hits. Founded by Danny Hutton, Three Dog Night continues to bring its catalog of singalong favorites to the stage.
