We are a Catholic Monastery of the Byzantine Rite located on the shores of Lake Superior and operate The Jampot as the principal work of our hands. The Jampot offers a wide selection of homemade jams, jellies and preserves and fresh bakery and fruitcakes. On line ordering is available. We are open from May to mid-October from 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday.

We love the Jampot. Yes, the goods are expensive like some of the reviews state. However we absolutely love the banana bread. Today it’s with walnuts and cranberries. Last time it was blueberries...

Cool vibe, disappointing flavor of products
Despite the glowing reviews we were disappointed in the flavor of the pound cakes. One of two had a serious problem (I believe in too much lemon extract) and was not edible. The other was just okay...
