Kilwin's Chocolate Shoppe of Ann Arbor opened in 1983 and is owned by Karen Piehutkoski. In 1996 Karen opened a second shop, an ice cream parlor, right next door to the chocolate shoppe. Both stores are located in an old building in Ann Arbor's historical district. Visitors enjoy an old-fashioned ambiance with black walnut hardwood floors, antique light fixtures and exposed brick walls when they walk in either shoppe. But it's the old-fashioned customer service, fine chocolates and original recipe ice cream that impress her customers enough to keep them coming back again and again!

Artisan Chocolates
I have patronizing this store since 1989 and I have never had a bad batch of chocolates. Their chocolates have always pleased my wife. When I was courting her, these always put a smile on her face.

Really enjoyed my ice cream
I went here with friends but they backed out because they were still full from lunch. Whimps! You’re never full when it comes to ice cream. Mint chocolate chip is the way to go.
