Waterloo-Hickory Hills

The Hickory Hills Trail is located in the Waterloo Recreation area, just 5.3 miles from the Discovery Center and 1 mile from the Waterloo Area Headquarters. Along the 1-mile route, hikers will be able to see many different interpretive points to learn more about the surroundings. It travels through and Oak-Hickory forest and an old golf course, providing several hilly parts of the pathway as well as steep stairways. Hikers will also see a scenic view of Crooked Lake during their journey.
