The nature trails located in the Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area in southeast Michigan are composed of two loops at 1.2-miles and 3.85-miles. The trails feature a series of interpretive plaques that focus on the rich natural history of the area as well as tree identification. This stroll through the woods contains grand scenery that can be a pleasant escape from the busy surrounding cities. The trail encircles Lake Minnawanna, giving visitors scenic views of the lake and surrounding wildlife via footbridges and wooded pathways. The trail can be accessed just south of the park office. Hiking and cross-country skiing are allowed on the pathway, weather permitting.
