Known as the Straits of Mackinac or top of the "hand" that is Michigan. Amenities are few, but include a general store, two chapels, an airport and a tavern.From the Island's west end one can see the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island, and from the north shore you can barely see the Upper Peninsula.
