Tippy Dam on the Big Manistee River is a world-class fishing hotspot. We are steps from the Dam. The Manistee river stretches on for over forty miles. The Manistee River is the third river running through the Manistee National forest, and is considered the "family river" for its slow moving, calm current and its nice width. We are in the "Heart" of the Manistee National Forest, in Manistee County. The Forest is Lying between the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron in the northern half of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, is the nearly one-million-acre Huron-Manistee National Forests. The Forests offer year-around motorized and non-motorized recreation opportunities. Most popular are the trails and campgrounds along four nationally designated Wild and Scenic Rivers such as the Pine, Manistee, Au Sable and Pere Marquette. We have 50/30/20 amp Service on 17 Sites, we have 20 Sites that have no electric. We have picnic table and fire pits on all of our sites. We have a bath house with showers.
