Addison Oaks is a scenic 1,140-acre park with two lakes. The park features boating, canoeing, kayaking, picnicking, fishing, ice fishing, and ice skating. There are 20+ miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, winter fat tire biking and ungroomed cross-country skiing. In addition, there are individual modern sites, group camping areas and cabins. Campsites are all modern with electricity and water on site. Average lot size is 50'x50' accommodating just about any size rig. Rowboat, pedal boat and mountain bike rentals are available. A 24-hole disc golf course is open year-round. The Historic Tudor-style Buhl Estate is ideal for weddings, banquets, receptions and business meetings with food service by Oak Management and can be reached at 248-693-8305. Yurts are a unique camping option. Yurts are circular, spacious canvas-walled tents. Each yurt sleeps six and is furnished with two bunk beds, one double bed, night stand and mirror, small refrigerator and table and chairs. The yurt sites also feature a fire circle, outside grill and a picnic table. A 2.4-mile connector trail connects the main park to Addison Oaks east and other nearby recreation areas. Addison Oaks County Park has 3 picnic pavilions to rent Trails Edge, Lakeview and Timber Ridge all offering large outdoor cooking grills, sand volleyball and horseshoes pits.
