Anam Cara is a wilderness retreat with modern luxuries. With 150 forested acres and nearly a mile of shoreline on semi-private Spruce Lake, Anam Cara is truly "away from it all." Yet virtually every amenity is provided including luxury, hotel grade mattresses with down-filled bedding (synthetic linens optional); new over-sized furniture; a selection of boats; Finnish sauna; satellite TV, stereo and DVD player; and more. Anam Cara sleeps 12 in comfort, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms in its main house, and one more BR in a window-encased guesthouse high above and right next to the waterfront. The main house has a large balcony with fireplace, surrounded with custom wood deck seating, and a great room with large windows overlooking the lake. The property, with its lake, three ponds and 2000 feet of trout stream frontage, teems with flora and fauna including loons, eagles, pike, walleye, panfish, deer, berries, and an abundance of wildflowers.
